It seems that BlackBerry is planning to give a different look at the UI (user interface) to update the BlackBerry OS 10.3. At least, there are four (4) changes in the UI is quite striking that you can see.

Reporting from phonearena, Michael Clewley (Product Manager of BlackBerry) says that there are at least four major changes in the BlackBerry UI 10.3. The changes include:

1. Signature Action

Changes in UI in the BlackBerry 10.3 This update begins with "Signature Action" which is a feature function bar. Later bar that appears on the UI action will be divided into primary and secondary action. The difference between the two looks of the blue circle in the primary action, which indicates that the bar is more often used.

2. Icons Without Border

The icons that appear in the BlackBerry UI 10.3 will no longer have a border (border) around the text box label them. You can also see that some of the icons (Phone, BlackBerry Hub, Camera, Calendar, Browser, Text Messages) look updated with a slightly different design icons.

 3. Unlimited Apps in the UI

Not only that, the BlackBerry has removed limits on how many applications that can be put into the UI. Yep, a folder in the BlackBerry UI designed endless 10.3 (unlimited), and you are free to enter into any application UI folder, while still measih insufficient memory.

4. Quick Setting

The last change is the addition of new features in the UI called Quick Settings. This new feature allows you to pull down the menu of any application by using two fingers down. You will no longer have to minimize the application is running to get to the homescreen.
