Samsung and Nokia reportedly testing 5G networks in the country sunrise .
Reporting from phonearena , last year , Samsung has announced that they are determined to establish a connection 5G 2020 . During each test , the Samsung uses 64 antennas to achieve 1Gbps speed signal , the average merupakanrata kecepatann 5G . Today ( 9/5 ) Japanese operator , NTT DoCoMo , announced that they partnered with a large number of hardware vendors , including Alcatel - Lucent , Ericsson , Fujitsu , NEC , Nokia and Samsung , to jointly test 5G technology .
Testing will see 5G speed at high frequency band above 6GHz . 5G connection involves the transmission of data at high speeds of 10Gbps , which is 1000 times the current capacity in 4G/LTE . The test will determine how well this frequency will support speeds of up to 10Gbps , even if a large number of devices attempting to connect to the network at the same time , in remote areas .
DoCoMo and vendors 5G will begin testing this year , the Area Research & Development ( R & D ) Center in Yokosuka , Kanagawa Prefecture , Japan. Outdoor trials will begin next year .
Data out of the testing will be shared with the research institutes and conferences world so international standards for 5G can be agreed by all countries in the world . Discussion to determine what standards are required for 5G will begin in 2016
